Terms of Service
Effective October 27, 2026
These terms are the agreement between MoveCrafter LLC and the businesses and people who use MoveCrafter. They are also the end-user license agreement (EULA) for the MoveCrafter web app, crew mobile apps and integrations, including the QuickBooks Online integration. Please read them carefully. Questions: support@movecrafter.com.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MoveCrafter website, the web application at app.movecrafter.com, the customer portal, the crew mobile apps and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by MoveCrafter LLC ("MoveCrafter", "we", "us").
The Service is for moving companies and their staff. If you accept these Terms for a company ("Company"), you confirm that you are authorized to bind it, and "you" means both you and the Company. By creating an account, connecting an integration or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and users
- You must give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- The Company is responsible for its users (owners, admins, office staff and crew members) and for everything done under its account. Keep login credentials confidential, and tell us right away at support@movecrafter.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Your customers may use the customer portal, signing links and payment pages you send them. You are responsible for your relationship with your customers.
3. License
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for its users to access and use the Service, including installing the crew mobile apps on their devices, for the Company's internal business purposes during its subscription. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted, including all rights in the Service and its software, design and content.
4. Fees and payments
- Subscription. The Company pays the subscription fees for its plan, billed in advance through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing by us. We may change fees with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next billing period.
- Taxes. Fees don't include taxes. The Company is responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes on its subscription.
- Late payment. If payment fails, we may suspend the Service after notice until the account is brought current.
- Accepting payments from your customers. Payment processing is provided by Stripe, under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. By using MoveCrafter payments you agree to those terms and authorize us to share your information and transactions with Stripe. We may charge a platform fee on payments processed through the Service, as shown in your plan. You are responsible for refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your customers.
5. Your data
- You own it. As between you and us, the Company owns the information it and its users enter, upload or import into the Service, including information about its customers and crews ("Company Data").
- Our use. You grant us the rights we need to host, process, transmit and display Company Data to provide, secure and support the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated, de-identified data that does not identify you or any person to operate and improve the Service.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed to collect and use Company Data in the Service, including your customers' and crews' consent to receive texts and emails, and for complying with laws that apply to your communications (such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM).
- Export and deletion. You can export your data while your account is active. After your account ends, we delete Company Data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party services and QuickBooks Online
The Service works with third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Twilio and Google. Your use of each is also governed by that provider's terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or for changes they make that affect the Service.
When the Company connects QuickBooks Online:
- it authorizes MoveCrafter to access its QuickBooks company and to create and update customers, invoices, payments and sales receipts there, as configured in MoveCrafter;
- the sync runs one way, from MoveCrafter to QuickBooks. Changes made in QuickBooks to records MoveCrafter created may be overwritten when the record changes in MoveCrafter;
- the Company is responsible for reviewing its books, its item and account mappings and its sales tax settings, and for any records the sync log asks a person to handle;
- the Company can disconnect at any time, in MoveCrafter or in QuickBooks.
MoveCrafter does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law or to send spam or unsolicited messages;
- upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that is harmful, fraudulent or infringing;
- access another company's data, probe or break our security, or disrupt the Service;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- use automated means to access the Service except through features or APIs we provide.
We may suspend access that violates these Terms or threatens the Service or other users, and will tell you when we reasonably can.
8. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features. Features labeled beta or early access are provided as is and may change or end.
10. Mobile apps
The crew mobile apps are licensed, not sold, under these Terms. If you download an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility for the apps or for support, maintenance or claims about them, which are ours, to the extent not disclaimed here. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoveCrafter disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that estimates, routing, mileage, tax or other calculations will be free of errors. You are responsible for reviewing estimates, invoices and records before you rely on them.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if advised of the possibility; and (b) MoveCrafter's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the fees the Company paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to a party's fraud or willful misconduct, or to the Company's payment obligations.
13. Indemnity
The Company will defend and indemnify MoveCrafter against third-party claims arising from Company Data, the Company's communications with its customers and crews, or the Company's violation of these Terms or the law, and will pay resulting damages and reasonable costs.
14. Term and termination
- These Terms apply while you use the Service. The Company may cancel its subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We may suspend or end the Company's access for material breach that isn't cured within 15 days of notice, for non-payment, or immediately if needed to protect the Service or comply with law.
- When the account ends, the license ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including fees owed, data responsibilities, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Worcester County, Massachusetts, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify Company account owners by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required sooner by law. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
17. General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and any order or plan you sign up for, are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
